Wow I've lived around the corner for a year and have never stopped in, but am SO glad I did today!! I ordered an oat milk latte and the avocado toast which were both made perfectly! I think this is the best avocado toast I've ever had. Seriously! (I usually go to The West, but their avocado toast is gross and brown... ) Also, the man working the register was very friendly and the decor is sweet and not pretentious at all.

To top it off, a UPS delivery man just dropped off a package and the barista (possibly owner?) handed him a pastry for the road. So nice!

    Update

I came in and asked for 2 cups of ice and the guy working charged me $2. Are you kidding me? I come all the time because I live across the street and have spent a decent amount of money here. I told him beforehand that I would pay for it but was expecting him to charge me a couple of quarters. It doesn't logically make sense considering they serve water for free. I did not argue because I didn't want to make a scene, but I will not be returning as I really felt cheated.

Delicious and enormous almond milk latte. This was a great place to get some work done on a weekend morning. Not too loud or crowded, and delicious coffee in a beautiful mug.

    Update

The barista came and talked to me afterwards and apologized for the miscommunication with the ordering cash vs credit and gave me a coupon for a free drink, which I totally wasn't expecting. I appreciated how they handled the situation, as someone who also works in food service. Miscommunications happen sometimes, especially when a place is busy and it meant a lot they took the time to do that.

Good vibes and good cold brew; it's a small coffee shop that provides a comfortable atmosphere and pretty tasty food (the avocado toast and baked goods are ); the WiFi works well and i stayed here for about four hours and it never felt chaotic or too crowded/overwhelming.

However, I wasn't happy with the fact that after I sat down I found out they didn't have a public bathroom (but there is one at the Walgreens across the street you can use), and there is a minimum $5 credit card processing requirement. I don't have a problem with that, but I ordered a small cold brew ($3.75) and they insisted I order the large side ($5) because I was immediately paying with credit card. I had cash and was willing to do that, and the barista didn't say anything to me beforehand so I was a little miffed. But honestly the quality of their products are good and I like the atmosphere so it's something I'm willing to overlook in the future. I

My boyfriend and I are on a mission to try every cafe in our area, after living here for 7 years we decided to come to Mountain Province on a very chilly Thursday morning.

It's a small place but wasn't crowded, probably a handful of people were sitting either working alone or having some kind of one on one meeting.

It's super cozy, and eclectic. There is a cabinet up front with weird little dolls, looks like something out of grandmas house, which is comforting. The wallpaper is palm trees and the lighting is dim.

We ordered two almond milk macchiatos and two sausage sandwiches. I can't have gluten so I asked for mine sans the bread. They don't have gluten free bread, they did have one pastry that was gluten free but I wanted more of an eggs and meat situation.

We sat at the table by the window and sipped our coffees, which were nice and strong, very well made macchiatos (that's usually my go to at cafes). Our server brought over our sausage sandwiches and he made mine special since I couldn't have the bread with some extra salad. It was a super sweet gesture and made it feel like more of a meal to me.

The food was terrific, the sausage is like nothing I've ever had before. We looked it up and it's Filipino, and damn it's good. The eggs were cooked beautifully with just the right amount of yolk coming out and the salad was the perfect accompaniment.

    Definitely worth a try!
